A flu clinic has been opened at Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IGMH) in response to an increase in cases of fever and flu.

According to hospital guidelines, patients seeking services at the flu clinic must first report to the emergency room triage. The Quebee token system will be used to issue a flu clinic token, after which triage staff will direct patients either to the flu clinic or to the emergency room, depending on their condition.
The flu clinic will operate daily from 10:00 am to 10:00 pm.
Health authorities said there has been an increase in cases of colds and flu in Malé and in some islands of the Maldives in recent days.
