Three people were injured in a collision involving two motorcycles on Sosun Magu in Malé early Monday morning, police said.
Police said they received reports of the accident at about 1:12am.
The three people sustained injuries of varying severity. They include two men, aged 21 and 22, and a 26-year-old woman.
The woman is receiving treatment at ADK Hospital, while the two men are being treated at Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IGMH).
Police said the 21-year-old man, who was riding one of the motorcycles involved in the collision, did not have a licence to drive a land vehicle.
Police are investigating the accident.
