Maldives Airports Company Limited (MACL) on Monday ordered the removal of the vessels within the airports lagoon area, fenced by orange buoys installed on the north-eastern side of Hulhumale to separate Hulhumale and Hulhule.
As per a notification issued by MACL on Monday:

Vessels have been asked to be moved away so that piling work can be done in the area

Vessels have been asked to be removed by March 9

For the safety of the vessels, a distance of 20 metres or 65 feet should be maintained from the orange buoy to the north (Hulhumale lagoon)

MACL will not take responsibility for the damage caused to any marine vessel entering the area
