HDC begins project to reclaim 20 hectares of land in Thilafushi
The project was awarded to Capital Marine and Civil Construction Company to be completed in 120 days.
HDC on Monday launched a project to reclaim an additional 20 hectares of land from K. Thilafushi industrial island.
HDC said that the process of reclaiming Area C of Thilafushi Phase II began on Monday in line with the masterplan for the development of Thilafushi.
The project was awarded to Capital Marine and Civil Construction Company to be completed in 120 days.
According to the master plan on how to develop Thilafushi into the country's largest industrial hub:

Meanwhile, HDC has announced the sale of land from Zone A of Thilafushi for industrial purposes.
