EC seeks candidates for over 5,000 pres election jobs
For this year's elections, the Election Commission had set up polling stations in Dharubaaruge.

The Elections Commission has started recruiting over 5,000 employees for various election-related work.
The Elections Commission has started recruiting staff for various work related to the September 9 elections.
Walk-in interviews will be conducted from 10 am to 10 pm on Saturday and Sunday.
Election Commission Director Aishath Shaffaf told Atoll Times that the commission has opened up a large number of job openings for various election activities.
"So far, a total of over 100 people have come here and appeared for the interviews," she said.
"We need a total of 5,000 officials. Then we are hiring 230 officers, 69 senior officers, 8 managers, and more staff for our administrative work."

Stating that participating in election work is a great experience for everyone, Shaffaf urged people to participate in the election process as much as possible.
"We rarely ply for job opportunities. So I would like as many people as possible to come and help us and participate in this national cause," she said.
During this year's elections, the Election Commission had set up polling stations in Dharubaaruge. While the Election Commission has started recruiting people for various election-related work, it is making preparations to ensure that the staff can work at the polling station.
