Digital ID users cross 10k in a week of public testing
The public beta of the Digital ID app went live on May 31 for both Android and iOS users.
More than 10,000 people have installed Digital ID app since it was opened to the public for testing a week ago, National Centre for Information Technology (NCIT) said on Monday.

Apart from the national ID card, this digital ID includes:

Driving licence

Marriage certificate

Information about family members
-
Business information
-
Civil service employment information (if employed as a civil servant)

Aasandha national health insurance scheme transactions
The World Bank last year gave USD 10 million to develop the country's technology industry, including digital ID cards.
The government had earlier said that it was working on introducing digital IDs in the last quarter of last year.
However, president Ibrahim Mohamed Solih said in his presidential address this year that the introduction of digital ID and 'one-gov' service this year:

Will ensure that copies of ID cards and various documents that are available on the digital platform should not be repeatedly submitted to the government
