The Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) has signed another agreement with Maldives to conduct two key tasks under the Disaster Resilience Enhancement in Male project.
Under the MoU signed with JICA at a ceremony held at the planning ministry on Thursday:

A study will be conducted to repair the seawall

A study on the city's drainage system expansion
A similar agreement was signed between JICA and the government last year. However, details of the work under the agreement were not disclosed.
