The opportunity to apply for the posts of Chief Justice of the Civil Court and Chief Justice of the High Court has opened on Thursday.
Senior Civil Court Judge Ahmed Nimal Junaid died suddenly last month. Therefore, the administration of the court has now been temporarily handed over to Judge Farhad Rasheed.
High Court Chief Justice Hathif Hilmy retired last year and the administration of the court was temporarily handed over to Justice Hussain Shaheed.
The Judicial Service Commission (JSC) on Thursday opened the nominations for the posts.

Chief Justice of the High Court
The opportunity to apply for these positions is open until 12 noon on the 19th of this month. Applications can be submitted through the JSC's ‘Fahires’ portal.
