Man injured while trying to steal bag on stolen motorcycle

Two people who stole a motorcycle from Orchid Magu and then snatched a handbag from a tourist walking down Lily Magu in Male have fallen off their ride and injured themselves Sunday evening.
The accident happened at 7pm on Lily Magu, near the Dhivehi Insurance office.
Police said a two-vehicle collision on Lily Magu was reported at 7:02 p.m.

Investigation so far has revealed that one of the motorcycles that met with the accident was driven after robbing a person on the street

A witness told Atoll Times that while the two Maldivian men were riding a stolen motorcycle on Orchid Road, another man was chasing them on another motorcycle.
