Rozaina, Saleem, Jabir interested in deputy speakership
The MDP Parliamentary Group will hold a meeting on Sunday to select a candidate for the Deputy Speaker of Parliament, the official said.

Three members of the majority party, the MDP, have expressed interest in becoming the deputy speaker of the parliament.
The no-confidence motion against deputy speaker Eva Abdulla was tabled for Sunday's session. Eva resigned from her post when she had the opportunity to respond to the no-confidence motion against her.
