Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has been entrusted with the task of surveying and conducting the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) for the development of Sh.Komandoo and Th.Guraidhoo airports.
Contract agreements were signed between the Ministry of Construction and MTCC at two separate ceremonies held in the two islands on Thursday.

Komandoo airport and Guraidhoo airport are a presidential pledge of President Mohammed Muizzu.
The government's policy is to develop a domestic airport within 30 minutes of every residential island, resort or industrial island.
