Ooredoo triumphs at the Twimbit Telecom Awards

Ooredoo Maldives has won the ‘Small Markets Telco of the Year’ award at the prestigious Twimbit Awards for telecommunication industry innovators.

Ooredoo, Dhiraagu and DST, Brunei competed for the Small Markets Telco of the Year at the awards ceremony held at St Regis Singapore on Tuesday.
Ooredoo Maldives CEO Khalid Al Hamadi said the award was a great honour for the company.
"This is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our incredible team, whose relentless efforts have made this achievement possible. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who contributed to this success," he said.
"As we celebrate this milestone, we look forward to continuing our journey of innovation and excellence in the telecom industry."
The awards were attended by major telcos and tech companies from the Asia Pacific region. These include Bharti Airtel, Singtel, StarHub, Rakuten Mobile Japan, Reliance Jio, Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison and China Mobile.
The Twimbit Telecom Awards, the most prestigious honour for telecom innovators, recognized outstanding achievements in 23 categories, including 'Telco of the Year', 'Small Markets Telco of the Year', 'Telco to Techco of the Year'.
