The cables of some of the lights put up around the city to mark the occasion of Eid-Al-Adha have been stolen.
The city council said on Saturday that the cables were stolen from the Republic Square.

Photos of the area show the Republic Square lit up festively for Eid. However, some of the lights were off and cables can be seen pulled out and sticking out.
The city council said the matter has now been reported to the police.
