A speedboat collided with the jetty in GDh. Thinadhoo on Monday after going out of control, injuring four individuals on board.
According to Maldives Police Service, the incident took place at approximately 1:50 p.m. The speedboat was carrying six people, including the captain and a crew member.
The passengers included a one-year-old child, three women, and two crew members.
Police confirmed that the injured individuals include:

A 50-year-old male (captain)

A 29-year-old male (crew member)

A 25-year-old female passenger

A 28-year-old female passenger
All four are currently receiving treatment at Abdul Samad Memorial Hospital in Thinadhoo.
Authorities are continuing to investigate the cause of the incident.
