Warning over scam calls with fake immigration uniforms
Scam calls from foreign numbers have increased recently.

Scam video calls made by people wearing uniforms that resemble Maldivian immigration uniforms has emerged.
Immigration posted on X on Monday that people are wearing uniforms similar to immigration uniforms and making video calls via WhatsApp from a foreign number.

The scam calls are asking for people's personal information and bank card information.
"We assure you that this is not the action of immigration officers. We urge all parties to beware of such scam calls," the post read.
Scam calls from foreign numbers have increased recently.
