The chairman of the Road Development Corporation (RDC), Mohamed Shaamy Adam, has been dismissed from his position.

The Privatisation and Corporatisation Board (PCB), which oversees government-owned companies, announced Monday that Mohamed Shaamy Adam has been removed from his post as Chairman of RDC.

Shaamy, who also served as a board member of the SME Development Finance Corporation (SDFC), has been removed from that board as well.

PCB President Mohamed Anas stated that the decision to remove Shaamy from the RDC board was part of an initiative to strengthen the governance of state-owned companies.
