E-system programme to boost govt procurement

An Electronic Government Procurement (e-GP) system has been launched to strengthen the state procurement system.
The Ministry of Finance took to X on Sunday saying that the work on the system has begun.
An inauguration event was held at the Ministry on Sunday to start the work. The meeting was attended by Finance Minister Dr Mohamed Shafeeg, who met and spoke to the participants.
The e-GP system is used to facilitate and strengthen the procurement processes of governments with the help of information technology. This system increases the transparency and efficiency of government procurements. It will:
