Two individuals were arrested on Thursday in connection with stolen pickup batteries.
The arrests took place Thursday morning at the junction of Fareedee Magu and Chandhanee Magu, where they were apprehended in a pickup truck.

Police reported that 12 pickup batteries, suspected to have been stolen, were recovered during the stop.
The individuals arrested have been identified as Ali Ahsan, 32, and Mohamed Nizad, 43.
The police have not disclosed the location from which the batteries were stolen.
Investigations into the incident are ongoing.
