President appoints Fuad Thaufeeq as Maldives envoy to Thailand
Fuad has previously served as the chairman of the Elections Commission.

President Mohamed Muizzu on Monday appointed Fuad Thaufeeq of as the Maldivian ambassador to Thailand.
The president presented Fuad with his credentials during a ceremony held Monday morning at the President's Office.

Prior to his appointment as the Maldivian ambassador to Thailand, Fuad served as Ambassador-at-Large at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Fuad has also previously served as the chairman of the Elections Commission.
