Police launch operation to tackle liquor, drugs in new year season
The police have previously noted an uptick in alcohol and drug trafficking-related crimes in the Male region during the New Year season.
Police on Tuesday launched a coordinated operation to address potential increases in liquor and drug trafficking during the New Year period.
The operation involves the Drug Enforcement Unit, Hulhumale Police, Marine Police, and K. Atoll Police Station.
