
Chinese tourist missing in Maldives since October

A Chinese tourist who travelled to the Maldives has been reported missing since October last year.
Su Xiaoning, a 30-year-old Chinese woman, was reported missing on Wednesday.
Her family has not had any contact with her since her arrival in the Maldives. The case has been reported to the Maldives Police Service through the Chinese embassy.
According to information released by the police on Monday:

Su Xiaoning entered the Maldives on a tourist visa in October 13.

She checked out of her guesthouse 11 days later, on October 24, early in the morning.

Investigations indicate that she has not left the country since her check-out.
The Maldives Police Service stated that no information about her or her current whereabouts has been uncovered so far.
Authorities have urged anyone with information about Su Xiaoning to contact the Serious and Organised Crime Investigation unit at 9911099.
