Another motorcycle was involved in the fatal motorcycle accident on the Male-Hulhumale highway on Saturday morning, resulting in the death of a Bangladeshi man, police confirmed today.
According to police, the accident took place when the motorcycle collided with cones on the right side of the highway. The rider was transported to Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IGMH), where he later died while receiving treatment.
A police spokesperson stated that another motorcycle involved in the incident was towed, and its driver’s license was confiscated. The reason for towing the second motorcycle was not disclosed, but the official confirmed that it was also part of the accident.
