Man dead in motorcycle, car accident on Feydhoo link road

A man has died following a collision between a car and a motorcycle on the Feydhoo link road in Addu City on Saturday evening.
According to Maldives Police Service, the accident occurred at approximately 7:30 p.m. The motorcyclist sustained injuries and was taken to the Feydhoo Health Centre, where he was pronounced dead.
The deceased has been identified as Ibrahim Siyad, 36, from Ulfath, Feydhoo.
The driver of the car, Mohamed Mahil Mumthaz, 23, from Margold, GDh. Fiyoaree, has been taken into police custody.
Police have stated that an investigation into the incident is ongoing.
