A man being treated for injuries sustained in a road accident in Addu last Sunday has passed away.
Ibrahim Hussain sustained serious injuries in the collision between two motorcycles on the Hithadhoo Link Road. He suffered a head injury and had been unconscious since then.

Hussain, 62, passed away at Addu Equatorial Hospital (AEH) Wednesday night. He was brought to Male for treatment, but was taken back to Addu at the request of his family.
Two others were also injured in the accident, but their injuries were not serious.
