
Govt awards MVR 625.6m contracts for health facility construction
The projects were awarded to Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC), Road Development Corporation (RDC), and Fenaka Corporation.
The government on Wednesday signed contracts worth MVR 625.6 million with state-owned companies for the construction of new buildings for nine health facilities.
The agreements were formalised at a ceremony held at the Ministry of Health.
The projects were awarded to Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC), Road Development Corporation (RDC), and Fenaka Corporation.
Contracts awarded to RDC:

HDh. Kulhudhuffushi Dhamanaveshi Building – MVR 23 million

K. Gaafaru Health Centre – MVR 26.8 million

HDh. Hanimaadhoo Hospital – MVR 104 million

ADh. Maamigili Hospital – MVR 105 million
RDC Managing Director Ali Zuhair signed the agreements on behalf of the company, while State Minister Ismail Shareef signed on behalf of the Health Ministry.
Contracts awarded to MTCC:

Th. Vilufushi Hospital – MVR 105 million

Sh. Maaungoodhoo Health Centre – MVR 27 million

N. Foddoo Health Centre – MVR 26.8 million
MTCC Managing Director Ahmed Saudy signed the agreements on behalf of the company, with State Minister Ismail Shareef representing the Health Ministry.
Contract awarded to Fenaka Corporation:

HDh. Makunudhoo Health Centre – MVR 103 million
Fenaka Managing Director Mohamed Najah signed the agreement on behalf of the company, while State Minister Ismail Shareef signed on behalf of the Health Ministry.
