Police have stated that a dispute took place between Hawwa Yumnu Rasheed and Raud Ahmed Zilal before she fell from the ninth floor of H. Fentenoige, according to a remand order issued by the Criminal Court.

Yumnu, 21, fell onto the rooftop of H. Mitaz in the early hours of 18 April. At the time, she had been staying at the H. Fentenoige apartment, where Raud was also present. He was arrested on Thursday in connection with the case.

On Friday, the Criminal Court ordered Raud to be remanded in custody for five days. The court order outlines preliminary findings of the investigation.

According to the remand order, police investigators stated that an argument occurred between Yumnu and Raud on the night of the incident. Following the fall, Raud reportedly told someone that he did not know Yumnu’s whereabouts and suggested she had probably fallen.

The remand order notes that further details about the time, location, and nature of the argument, as well as the exact circumstances of Yumnu’s fall, remain unclear.

Police initially stated that no individuals other than Raud were involved in the incident. He was later taken into custody for failing to cooperate with the investigation, police said.
