Abdul Rahman Adam, who died earlier this month in AA. Maalhos, sustained fatal head injuries, according to the interim autopsy report released by police on Thursday.
Abdul Rahman passed away on 13 July while receiving treatment at the Maalhos Health Centre. He was found with serious injuries to his head and face while sleeping at his residence.
His body was later sent to India for an autopsy to determine the cause of death and support the ongoing investigation.
In a statement issued Thursday, police confirmed that the autopsy report attributes the cause of death to head injuries. No further information was disclosed.
Police also stated that no arrests have been made in connection with the case.
