The Male’ City Council has instructed residents to place the nameplates of their houses in public view.
The council issued a gazette on Tuesday stating that name boards in Male’ and Villimale’ are not as visible as before. This has made it difficult for the council to provide services effectively.

“To address this, all household name boards are requested to be posted outside the building in a publicly visible manner from today,” the council said in a statement.
