IGMH confirmed on Monday that the man, who suffered severe burn injuries in the fire incident at M. Nirufehi in November, has been discharged from the hospital after treatment.
Only one person was being treated after a garage at the ground floor of Nirufehi house caught fire on November 9, killing 10 people. From that day till November 20, he was being treated in the ICU on ventilator support.
IGMH spokesperson Hawwa Afeefa told Atoll Times that he was taken off the ventilator and shifted to the ward and discharged the next day.
"He was discharged on November 21," Afifa said.
IGMH declined to provide further details about his health condition.
The bodies of all the victims have been repatriated to their respective countries. Eight Indians and two Bangladeshi nationals were killed:
