4 expats arrested in massage parlour raids in Male’

Authorities have previously stated that some massage parlours in the city bring individuals into the Maldives on tourist visas and use them for prostitution.
The Ministry of Homeland Security has reported that 111 massage parlours are currently operating in Male’. The minister has earlier said that foreign nationals arrested in such operations would be deported.
