Mohamed Naeem Hussain, the first air traffic controller of the Maldives, passed away on Tuesday.

His death was announced by Maldives Airports Company Limited (MACL) on Tuesday.

In a statement, MACL said Naeem’s passing marks a loss to the Maldives aviation sector. The company said his service to aviation is remembered with respect.
