President announces extra public holidays for 2023
This year, the president announced additional four public holidays.

President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih on Thursday declared additional government holidays for 2023.
The additional holidays included in a directive issued by the President’s Office are:

June 25, 2023 (Sunday)

June 26, 2023 (Monday)

September 28, 2023 (Thursday)
According to the next year's calendar, Hajj Day falls on June 27. With the additional off day, there will be at least six holidays in the week.
September 28 is Prophet Mohamed's birthday.
