The Maldives Meteorological Service said on Tuesday that the highest “feels like” temperature during the day is expected around 2 p.m.

Meteorological conditions during this period include lower cloud cover, lighter winds, higher humidity and a smaller difference between daytime and night-time temperatures.
The Met Office also said temperatures are expected to rise above the seasonal average in April.
On Tuesday, the heat index reached 36.3 degrees Celsius at 11 a.m., while the measured air temperature at the time was 31 degrees Celsius.
The Met Office publishes temperature data from monitoring stations in five regions of the country three times each day.
The agency has also forecast lower rainfall across the Maldives during March.
