A man was found dead with injuries on Wednesday in a property in Malé linked to drug-related activity.
The body was discovered in the afternoon in an abandoned house identified as G. Fresh Light, located in an alley off Faashanaakilege Magu.

An eyewitness stated that the deceased is a Maldivian male and that there were signs of physical injuries on the body.
According to available information, the individual was found in a noose when police arrived at the scene. It remains unclear whether the death resulted from self-harm or involved another party.
The body has been taken to hospital.
The Maldives Police Service has not yet issued an official statement regarding the incident.
