Foreign national dies after fall from building in Malé

The Maldives Police Service has reported that a foreign national died on Saturday night after sustaining injuries from a fall from a building in Malé.
According to police, the incident took place on Friday evening at a residence on Sabudheli Magu in the Maafannu district. The individual, a 30-year-old man from Bangladesh, fell from the 10th floor onto the roof of a nearby house.
Police stated that the victim was taken for treatment at Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital, where he later died while receiving medical care.
Authorities said arrangements are being made to repatriate the body to Bangladesh at the request of the family.
Police are continuing to investigate the circumstances of the incident.
