Rain forecast across Maldives for 2 days
According to the department, sea conditions will remain rough after Sunday. Winds are expected to reach 30 mph over the next 24 hours.
The National Meteorological Department (MET) has forecast rain in most parts of the Maldives Wednesday and Thursday.
The department said rainfall patterns have shifted in recent days. Southern regions recorded rain last week.
The Met Office has forecast rain in central and northern regions over the next 24 hours. The forecast states that the rain will continue until Sunday.
“We are expecting showers after Sunday,” a Met Office official said.
