Barbecue area opened in Hulhumale Phase II
HDC held a barbecue event for all the residents of Hiyaa flats this evening.

HDC on Friday opened a barbecue area in Hulhumale Phase II.
The 'My Hulhumale Barbecue Area' was opened near Hiyaa Towers of Phase II, in the beach area.
In order to open the barbecue area, HDC held a barbecue event for all the residents of Hiyaa flats this evening.
The barbecue was attended by senior HDC officials along with the general public.
Earlier, there was a special area for barbecue in Hulhumale Phase I. It ends in the northernmost part of the first phase. However, it was closed as part of the second phase of development and now it has a 'creek' between the two phases and small bridges connecting the two phases.
HDC said that having a barbecue area in Hulhumale is an added convenience for the general public.
