Test flight to Fares-Maathoda airport on Monday

A test flight has been scheduled for Monday at the airport being developed at GDh. Fares-Maathoda, which is set to open this month.
The official social media page of Fares-Maathoda Airport said that the test flight is scheduled to land at the airport:

President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih said in his presidential address to the Parliament last month that Fares Maathoda airport will be opened this month.
Preparations are underway to open the Fares Maathoda airport, which had announced recruitment for 45 jobs last month.
The project, which was awarded to MTCC in November 2020 for MVR 144 million, has completed more than 90% of the work, the company said recently.
