Man arrested for breaking into office, stealing MVR 700K

A man was arrested on Tuesday for breaking into an office building and stealing MVR 700,000.
The incident was reported to the police on Thursday evening after an office building on the first floor of a Henveiru building was broken into.
A 43-year-old local man was arrested in connection with the case. He was arrested from Male.
According to the police:

Over MVR 500,000 have been recovered from the place where the accused lived

The case is being investigated by the Serious and Organised Crime Department
