2.8 kg of drugs found in 4 Pakistanis' body
The four have been remanded in police custody for a month.

A total of 227 heroin bullets, which amounts to 2.9 kg of drugs, have been removed from the bodies of four Pakistani nationals arrested for allegedly smuggling drugs into the Maldives.
Four Pakistani nationals, who arrived by air, were arrested on Tuesday.
When their detention was decided, they were at the K. Dhoonidhoo clinic to remove the drugs from their body. After being released from the clinic, the court remanded them in police custody.
The police had on Friday removed the drugs from their bodies and produced them before the Criminal Court which extended their remand by another month.
From their court orders, it is clear that each person had swallowed 10-80 bullets. It was removed from their faeces.
Details of bullets taken from their bodies along with those arrested:

Misbah BB, 32 - Total 10 bullets, 157 grams in weight

Hawaar Hussain, 36 - Total 62 bullets weighing 756.3 grams

The number of bullets taken from the feces of the four menamounted to 227.

Attempts were made to smuggle drugs into Maldives by forming a group

All the four accused have confessed to the crime
When they arrived in the Maldives, it was suspected that they were trying to smuggle drugs. They were taken to IGMH and a scan revealed that there was a lot inside their bodies. Following this, the police arrested them and took them to Dhoonidhoo clinic.
