Elections Commission (EC) on Sunday released the list of eligible voters for the upcoming presidential elections scheduled to be held in September and opened it for complaints.
Complaints can be filed on the list of voters published by the Elections Commission in the government gazette on Sunday till June 22.
As per the list, 282,672 voters are eligible to vote in the September 9 election.
EC vice-president Ismail Habeeb urged voters on Sunday to check if their names are in the voters' list or if their names are correct. He said this was necessary for parties, candidates and individuals to prepare a valid voters' list.
When the provisional list was released in May, 280,000 people were eligible to vote.
