
Maldives warmly welcomes 103-time repeater tourist

Tourism minister Dr Abdulla Mausoom has welcomed a tourist who visited Maldives 103 times.
Naito Takashi of Japan arrived in Maldives for the 103rd time on Sunday. He came for a holiday on the Safari Blue, Fun Azul Fleet.
He was welcomed by tourism minister and senior industry officials at a ceremony held onboard the liveaboard vessel on Sunday.
Takashi has visited Maldives 3-5 times a year in the past 24 years, the tourism ministry said in a tweet.
According to the latest statistics released by the tourism ministry, 1.11 million tourists have arrived in Maldives this year as of August 7.
