The International Aid Campaign (IAC) has donated 20,000 liters of fuel to Gaza, which is suffering under the inhuman barrage of Israeli attacks.
On 7th of this month, more than 9,000 Palestinians have been killed in Israeli attacks in retaliation for the sudden attacks and rocket attacks by Hamas fighters, owned by the name of ‘Aqsa Storm’.
With the IAC opening up to help Palestine, a large number of Maldivians are providing assistance to the people of that country.
IAC said on Thursday evening that it has donated 20,000 liters of fuel to the Al Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in Gaza.
The organization said it would not stop providing aid to Gaza despite the injuries caused them by Israeli Zionists.
"The fuel was recovered from inside Gaza through the hard work of the IAC ground team and delivered safely to the hospital," the IAC said.
Maldivians have donated MVR 24 million to the IAC fund box to help the Palestinian people. The IAC has so far provided various assistance to the Palestinian people with the donations. They include:
-
Early in the clashes, food, fuel and some essential supplies were distributed
-
Later, a large amount of hotmeal was distributed to the public and hospital workers
-
At the request of the families, a total of USD 100,000 (MVR 1.5 million) was distributed to 200 families at the rate of USD 500 each
