Nashath reappointed to Elections Commission
Parliament on Wednesday approved the nomination of Nashath, whose five-year term at the Elections Commission end in July, for a second term.
President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih appointed Ali Nashath as a member of the Elections Commission on Thursday.
President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih presented the letter of appointment to Ali Nashath, at a ceremony held at the President’s Office Thursday morning.
Prior to awarding the letter of appointment, Supreme Court Judge Dr Azmiralda Zahir administered the oath of office to Ali Nashath in the presence of President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih.
