Shamman appointed immigration chief
Shamman was sacked from immigration by former President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih's government.

Mohammed Shamman Waheed, who worked as an immigration officer, has been appointed as the Immigration Controller.
The President’s Office said on Sunday evening that Shamman was appointed to the post at the level of State Minister.
Shamman was appointed Immigration Controller after he was sacked by former President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih's government.
Two other people were appointed at the level of State Ministers on Sunday. They are;
