Former President Abdullah Yameen has signed up for the People’s National Front (PNF) on Sunday evening.
Yameen signed up for the PNF at an event held at the party office.

Less than a week after President Mohammed Muizzu took office, Yameen left the PPM and started forming a new party.
Yameen left PPM on November 23. Yameen's senior lawyer, Dr Mohammed Jameel Ahmed, had earlier said that Yameen took the decision because he did not want senior PPM leaders to carry out the party's activities and that they did not seek his advice and opinions anymore.
