Body of dumped newborn sent to India for autopsy
A 30-year-old Sri Lankan woman has been arrested in connection with the case.

The body of the baby found dumped in the A.Dh. Dhigurah garbage dump site has been sent abroad for post-mortem.
The dead infant was found dumped on the 3rd of this month. Police are investigating the death of the child, who was allegedly abandoned after giving birth.
The body of the child was sent to India for post-mortem on Friday, police said in a statement.

"It was a full-term delivery. It was somewhat cleaned, but there was blood. The umbilical cord was not cut," the islander told Atoll Times.
A 30-year-old Sri Lankan woman has been arrested in connection with the case.
She was arrested while on her way to the Velana International Airport to fly back home.
