The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) has formed a rapid response team to prevent corruption in connection with next year's parliamentary elections.
The announcement was made in a plan issued on Wednesday outlining the policies of the ACC to ensure that the parliamentary elections are conducted in a timely manner, prevent corruption and hold fair elections.
The plan, titled 'Anti-Corruption Election Strategy', outlines strategies to achieve three main objectives.
These include, in order to strengthen the investigation of electoral corruption:

Enhance the capacity of the Commission's investigative staff

Expedite the investigation of corruption cases

These include the creation of a rapid response team, submission to the prosecutor to expedite duty prosecution and further strengthening of the election portal
To identify and prevent corrupt practices during elections:

Raise awareness about corrupt practices and measures that can be taken to prevent such practices

Expand awareness through ACC's social media

Publication of ACC policy on electoral corruption

After the election, a report will be prepared, a press release will be issued on areas of corruption and a paper on misuse of state property will be released
In order to monitor electoral corruption and be aware of potential corrupt practices:
