President Mohammed Muizzu met with the Speaker of the Parliament, Abdul Raheem Abdullah, on Monday.
During the meeting held at the President's Office, the two leaders discussed ways to speed up the country's affairs, according to the President's Office.

The meeting was attended by the Deputy Speaker of Parliament Ahmed Nazim, who is also Dhiggaru MP and the Leader of the ruling PNC Parliamentary Group, Inguraidhoo MP Ibrahim Falaah.
