A man has died after his motorcycle skidded off the highway from Male to Hulhumale.
In the message police sent to the media on Saturday:

The accident was reported at 6:40 am on Friday

The accident occurred when the bicycle swerved and hit the fences on the highway

It was a Sri Lankan man who was injured in the incident
Police said the man died while undergoing treatment at the hospital.
He was first treated at the Hulhumale Hospital and then taken to ADK for further treatment. He died while undergoing treatment at ADK early on Saturday.
Further investigations are underway into the incident.
